Here’s a follow-up to The Great LEGO Debate that I wrote about a couple of months ago. I don’t really have much more to say on it because Anita Sarkeesian says it all for me. She’s made two SUPER videos about the entire LEGO controversy, delving into the history of the company and how it’s been marketed, essentially arguing that LEGO created the no-girls-problem in the first place by exclusively marketing to boys. There’s a lot more to the videos, so I’ll let them speak for themselves. I’d recommend checking out Anita’s site for more great videos and feminist pop culture critiques.
